Okay, so this isn't a fancy meal, but again, a quick and easy one with things I found in my house. A simple vegan 'Mac and Cheese Croque'.
Ingredients:
Cooked pasta
2 to 4 slices of vegan cheese
2 slices of bread
Butter
Tomato (optional)
Salad and cucumber (optional)
Preparation method:
Put your first slice of bread on a plate (the bottom of the croque).
Layer a slice of cheese, the pasta, and another slice of cheese on that slice of bread.
Put the second slice of bread on top.
Butter the top of the croque and put it upside down on the grill, so that the buttered side is on the grill.
Now butter the other side of the croque as well, so the one that is now on top.
Close the grill for about 3 to 5 minutes at a medium to high heat.
Whilst the croque is heating up, you can cut some veggies and put them on your plate.
Serve!
